Suva® MP52 is a near-azeotropic blend of HCFC-22 (33%), HFC-152a (15%) and HCFC-124 (52% by weight). It has been developed as a retrofit refrigerant for R-12 automotive air conditioning systems, where retrofit to Suva® 134a is not a viable option. It has a condensing pressure close to that of R-12.

Suva® MP52 may also be used to good effect as a replacement for R-12 in cooling systems in industrial ambients where the condensing temperature is unusually high.
